Australians Abroad was founded in 1996 to provide a centralized resource for Australians living overseas. Australians Abroad is owned and administered by Kate Juliff and running expenses are defrayed by sponsors. Any profit is taxed in the US and put aside, for those times that sponsorship does not cover running expenses. There are no paid employees. Some consulting payments are made from time to time for specialized services.
