- Over the last months the company has been undergoing a lot of redefining as Butterfly Corporation turned one year old. And now we have specific areas of focus: Our mission statement is "Providing a bridge between New Zealand and Japan!" This is done through 1) Links to both countries 2) Homestays, 3) Products 4)...and other tie ups which are now taking place 5) And also we provide Web design and computer services in Japan as well.
- A redefined focus for the company to Provide a Bridge between New Zealand and Japan!! That is now the identity of the company
- Fixed compatibility issues with the site and now it is viewable at 800x600 which I hope will serve many more people
- Worked on and set up an office for a Stock Broker in Yokohama-he is now wireless and running XP on his computers
- 3 new Private students
- Another contract signed with Free & Easy Inc. to provide English teaching to private students in this area (1 April 2005)
- Entered into a contract with a company called Meta4 and in the coming month this site will be redesigned somewhat and a new section added as well where people can join communities.
- English Student Motoko Suzuki gets 100% result in two level three Eiken (English exams). This test is held 3 times a year in Japan in 400 locations each time with 2 million people sitting the test. it involves two sections: a) interview, b) writing/listening. only 48% of the people pass the interview and only 60% the writing/listening. She is very happy to get 100% in both.
- Hired a Secretary part time to help deal with the Japanese communications and some translation and proofing as well [2005-03-12]
